Omg..This is one of the best play i haf seen dis year..or rather in my life! This play, 'Jump' is a comic martial arts play from Korea..Initially i thought it's just a taekwondo play..& later i found out it is actualli a combination of taekwondo, tae-kyun, hapgido, gymnastics, n perhaps alittle of dance..

It's another day in an average Korean home, Grandfather is in charge, there's Father, Mother and Daughter and Uncle and they all have their chores to do.. They enjoy nothing more than challenging each other to martial arts showdowns, displaying their awe-inspiring expertise. Today, they are all looking forward to the "nice and gentle" boyfriend's visit. Above all, however, they enjoy getting on each other's nerves..The plot thickens when two burglars break into the family in the middle of the night.. When the family discovers the intruders, a mighty battle ensues..

All the actors & actresses are well-versed in martial arts and they r good actors too..& some of the actors real image (seen from the booklet) r really gd-looking esp the father and old man..BUT de sad thing is that the actor, supposedly to be acting as the son-in-law whom i was looking forward to seeing, injured himself during the performance last week as claimed by the notice..he looked soo cute on the pamphlet lar..& got replaced by someone who is rather muscular..bt from far cant really see his face so dunno how gd-looking he is..de actresses r also pretty & sweet too & the ex-pres niv is madly obssessed and enchanted esp by the Daughter..& he keeps on looking at their photos & saying how hot she is...

The show started with an old man who realli haf difficulty walking & asked an audience to help his up the stage..so he took up quite alot of time just walking onto the stage so initially i tot he was there to like waste abit of our time..after that i found out he is actually v.useful in making the transition from scenes to scenes..so as mentioned in the booklet "the show is impossible without him"..& i tot he doesnt know much of martial arts since he was chosen as this role..little did i noe dat he is actually one of the pro-est n most zai one..he could run up a nearly vertical ramp and do somersaults in the air..he can also jump, twist his body and kick his legs about in mid air..

There r alot of comedies and humours in the play..& some realli unexpected ones such as the one where the Father & Uncle r fighting..then the father 's hand strikes the uncle in the stomach and it "went through" the body..it looks realli real lar..cos after that the father withdrew his arm and found his hand gone & there is a hand still stuck at the uncle's back..initially i tot it's a prop bt it's impossible to get a prop from nowhere and the hand is still moving! n it's actuali the uncle's own hand & he starts laughing and doin some idiotic expressions like 'neh nanny poo poo..u didn't get me' that kind of face..i guess with the lightings and sound effects..there is a moment dat i tot that it really happened..there is also another part where the daughter and the to-be son-in-law fell in love with each other but every time they start to get closer and going to kiss..someone would walk by..esp the uncle who is the funniest one..he purposely squeezed in between the couples who were sitting next to each other on a table and pushed the guy to the other end by shifting his butt..it seems like the table is frictionless..den he acted like nth happened n walked away..if i start listing down all the interesting parts, then it would take like hours..

I think the props are really well-done like there was a time when the sword they were holding just turned into a fluorescent stick (or isit becos i didn't look closely enuf) and the lighting and sound effects coordinate nearly perfect to make every scenes look convincing..Everythg was nearly flawless..At the end when the burglars were being pathetically defeated..i tot the play was going to end..bt after that was actually one of the most thrilling & entertaining part when all of them displayed their awe-inspiring and marvelous skills..i watch until 'mu deng kou dai' and totally speechless..it's like there's r no stunts that they cant do..they can flip turn twist jump 'fly' like nobody's business..for every stunts they do..i m like OMGOMGOMG..den the applauses were roaring..n ppl beside me were like wtf..lol..& the girls esp ct, zt and mh r screaming..It's definitely, absolutely worth the watch..& with all the subsidy and student rates..i end up paying only 6++..when the original price for circle 3 seat was $35..next time if there is another similar shows in S'pore..i will surely go! So i conclude that Koreans r definitely cool..haha..n i will continue to like Kdramas forever! WOW..
